A customer of ours has an Avaya ACS that was working fine for a few years. 2 weeks ago, the caller ID stopped working. They have xfinity Comcast as their phone provider.
When calling in, I got 1 second ring on the handset and it stops. When I plug the phone cable directly into the handset, I get 4 second ring and the caller ID works. Comcast said it's not their fault because the caller ID works fine. But we haven't made any changes to the ACS. I'm assuming it's not getting all the packets and failing because of a Comcast change?
