Avaya 9621G VPN phone virtual keyboad won't go away

Ok, so I'm configuring a 9621G as a VPN phone on an IPO 9.0. The settings are all there but the problem is that when it starts to connect I can't see the whole screen because the virtual keyboard pops up when it's time to enter the password. How do I make this go away? The red x doesn't work and neither does the button with the "phone" on it. Any ideas? See picture...

What version of firmware do you have on the handset? I've had no end of issues with firmware on those handsets that cause strange things like you're seeing.

There aren't any settings in the 46xxsettings.txt file that can affect the keyboard so I'd definitely say this is software related.

Try reloading the same or newer version of firmware.
