Will the Avaya 9620 function over a server running a L2TP over IPSec vpn connection or is that not an option. We are attempting to get remote phones online via a Meraki MX84 firewall, which only offers a L2TP vpn?
Thanks in adbance for any help!

Set up a point to point VPN between the sites and then route the calls to the phone system over that.

Not always the way to go for a home office.

L2TP usually is tunneled inside IPSec. So I guess the firewall will be able to handle IPSec only remote sessions. The phones don't support L2TP but only plain IPSec.

I have not tried that Firewall but with a Barracuda Firewall which is IPsec it would not work we had to install a Sonicwall for the VPN phones.
