avaya 9620 beep sound and "connecting' on rhe dispaly

i have a current issue where selected 9620 getting a beep tone when lifting the handset and can see'connecting' on the display every mondays.
we need to unplug cable of the phones to restore dial tone and they work fine the whole week.
i just wonder issue re occur evey mondays only and users are dissappointed for themto keep on unplugging the cable.
any ideas?

Strange issue, you try upgrading the firmware? or if you are at the latest firmware, downgrade it and see if that fixes it

This makes better sense now. These phones getting the "connecting" issue same time every Monday are connected over a VPN?

we have many sites and this is happening to our 6 sites only.
this is happening always to same phones.
we noticed this when we upraded cm from 6.3 to 8
