Avaya 9608 handsets over a VPN strange fault

Hi All,

I have installed an IP Office 500 v2 system running 9.1 software with around 50 handsets at head office and then there are 5 remote sites connected back over a VPN to head office. One of the sites which has been working fine for weeks now has a strange fault on the handsets.

When the handsets are rebooted they come back on and look as if there working but are stuck trying to retrieve a back up. Even in system status the phones show as working but when you pickup the handset there is nothing there. Tried clearing the handset and re-programming and it made no difference and even replaced the handset with a new one and still the same fault. I have set the 46xxsettings file to disable backups.

Any help on this would be amazing.

Do the remote phones receive the 46xxsettings file?
