Does anyone know how to prevent the mute button from automatically activating whenever someone presses the speaker button on their phone? These are new phones to me, so I'm not sure how the programming really is just yet?

Thanks,

Crosstalker

First page of the station form, change Speakerphone: field under Station Options to 2-way. I bet you'll find it is set to 1-way.

Additionally, if you want the speakerphone deactivated you can set it to none. Some companies like this in an open office area so it doesn't disturb other workers.

Thanks for the try, however the only options I have are 1-way or none.

what is your set type on the form? if you have the incorrect set type you may not get the 2-way option even though the actual phone does have 2-way capabilities

Make sure the phone is programmed as a 6408D+, without the + it is a one way speakerphone
