Avaya 4620 IP phones wont re-register

Hi

I have an inermitent problem.

Basically I have been go into the logs and can see that the network has been disconnecting IP 4620 phones. But they wont re-register automatically, they have to be manually reset.

Phones have the latest firmware
CLANS have the latest firmware.
Communication manager 2.2
S8700 and G700

Has anyone got any ideas why the phones wont re-register automatically.

Please see list-registered ip-phones to see if the stations still there when the phones are disconnected. And when you manually register back the phones again, did it prompt you to "unregister station"?

I have the same problem with our IP phones that are located in very distant offices. I have not been able to figure out how to get them to re-register automatically, however, I have been able to decrease the frequency at which they lose their registration by changing these settings in the "cha ip-network-region x" screen:

H.323 IP ENDPOINTS RSVP Enabled? n
H.323 Link Bounce Recovery? y
Idle Traffic Interval (sec): 300
Keep-Alive Interval (sec): 120
Keep-Alive Count: 20
