I have been told that my pbx is unsuitable for call recording. Can I upgrade without throwing my pbx. Or do I need to start again. Surely there is a low cost solution.
Please help.

I would get a second opinion, call recording was available on 2.1 with a 406 V1 and VMPro.

Sorry, the upgrade would be to add the VMPRO to your unit, and possibly even getting that V1 traded in for a V2 as well might not be a bad idea.

Depending on how much call recording you need, I would look at doing it directly from the lines. Then the s/w of the system never even comes in to it.

I find it a better option than VM recording especially if you are recording most/all of your calls.

Oak do some good kit.
