Have a customer that is running on the Avaya 2050 IP Softphone 3X, the IP2050 is set up as Node Locked (1). The customer had to replace the harddrive in his laptop that and then it got to where it was requiring registers. We got that straighted out, and now a week later when he launched the Avaya 2050 softphone, the customer got a message that indicated that they are running a demo version and that is set to expire on July 14, 2012. The IT department confirmed that MAC address of his computer didn't change from the first time we installed the 2050 softphone just because he replaced the hard drive of the lap top. Did anybody else experience this issue, that would be happy to give us pointers on what to look at.
