AVAYA 1608 BACkLIGHT ISSUE!

Hi all,

I have a customer in a darkened location running 9.0.0.829 on an ip office , This customer wants the backlight on the 1608 sets to turn off automatically at 5 seconds thereabout after they've hung up the phone.

How possible is it to achieve this please.

It is set in the 46xxsettings.txt file.
There is enough info hanging around the inet about the use and contents of the file.

1 minute is the software minimum.
go down the hardware store and buy some tinted film or develop a mechanical solution.

Depending on the URI configuration the ICR can be completely ignored.

If your URI is configured to use internal data then the IP Office will look into the user's SIP tab and if you have *'s it will look into ICR.
