Avaya 1403 directory button? 1

Can anyone tell me if the 1403 supports a directory emulation button? I have programmed the 3rd button for this instead of the default call appearance but when I press it the Directory name flashes up and then it just beeps.. is it not supported or am I doing it wrong

1403 do not have programmable buttons, they are for appearence keys only (officially), some features may work but many won't

From Manager: As these phones only have 3 programmable buttons, those buttons should only be used for call appearance buttons.

· 1403: IP Office 6.0+.

Cheers for that amriddle , they don't really need the call appearance button but it was a nicety for them. I wont be buying them again though.

Yeah, they are crap, the 1603's are even worse. We never sell them to our customers, we would rather discount a better set in the first place

I didn't realise how crap they were until I took them out of the box! Horrible big plastic wedges!
