If your Files fail while Attempting the TFTP transfer. Make sure in the Configuration of the 1140 phone, You include the IP address of the phone, subnet mask, gateway or just make one up if you are using a crossover cable to connect the phone to the TFTP Server, which can just be a laptop. Provisioning box is the IP address of the TFTP Server. Uncheck Enable Voice 802.1Q and make sure no vlan. Uncheck DHCP to manually set these items.
