Anybody have any information on programming a norther telecom avantage phone system?

I am trying to hook up an external ringer to it and need to know if there is a setting in the switch that allows for this.

Any help is appreciated.

Can't remember one at all. I don't think there is a connection for it either. If I am correct in memeory you can use a CO Common Ringer interface unit from DEES. These units combine the ringing of several CO lines onto one bell or Stinger Ringer.
Hope I'm wrong though.

What type of vantage system do you have? there is a vantage 8, vantage 12 vantage 24/48 and a vantage 48c.
Vantave 12 the aux ring is on pair 16. and is controled by dip switch on each of the line cards. switch 5 needs to be off = open.
vantage 8 pair 20 is the aux ring port, nothing to set or program...?
I don't have my 24/48 or 48c book handy...
