Hi everyone. Could someone give me a bit of info about Avamar Virtual Edition. I can find plenty of documentation online but can't seem to find my specific questions:
1 - Am I right in saying I can backup a whole ESX host rather than installing it on each individual VM?
2 - When backing up an ESX host, with say 4 VMs, does Avamar just backup everything or can I pick and chooce what I want to backup or omit?
3 - When restoring, do I restore to the ESX host or to the VM itself i.e. even though it was backed up as one ESX host will it treat them as separate VMs on restores?
