I have a AV3700 with 2 seagate drives and the raidcontroller. I configured a raid1. But when I do a hardreset the drives doesn't respond. When I do after that a softreset The drives are responding.

Why dont't drives responding after a hardreset???

The solution seems to be .. don't do a hard reset.
The mylex controller is designed to protect the disks in the event of any anomalous event such as a hard reset or a power fail. By performing a hard reset you are interrupting the mirror maintenance so it has to assume there is a problem and not allow access until the problem is corrected. You may want to use GAM (windows) or DACCF (dos)(whichever you have) and check the health of your mirrors.
