Hi,
I am using VSE 7.1 and ePO agent 3.1.1.184. I am trying to schedule the auto update tasks for all clients to run daily instead of the default every week time(Friday, 5:00PM).

Looking through the other posts, I found out that the default settings cannot be changed through ePO but will have to be done manually on each local computer. The other option was to add an autoupdate task using the Schedule Task manager. My problem is that in the list of tasks, i see an autoupdate task for VS4.51 but none for 7.1. The only task in the list for 7.1 is OnDemandScan. How can I add the AutoUpdate task for 7.1 in the list of tasks.

Thanks, VS

To update VS you have to set an Agent Update. This will update the DATs for VS.

1) You can disable the default automatic update in the policies tab for VirusScan 7.1 in the ePo Orchestrator Console
It's just a little check box to disabled.

2) To update your VirusScan with the ePo 3.0.1 console, you must create a "ePo Agent" task. Type is "Global Auto Update". You must just have a valid repository (like the epo server itself).
This task works for every virusscan with ePo Agent.
Don't forget to check the "Don't use proxy settings" in the ePo proxy policies.

Hope this help
