Is there an inbuilt Autoresponder in Exchange 2000?

When someone leaves I would like to set-up an autoresponder to let anyone know that the person has left and their email will be dealt with by someone else.

I can't find anything in the internet about it and thought I'd ask the Gurus in here.

Thanks

Robert

You could setup the users Out of Office, but you should be wary about sending responses to the Internet due to spam concerns. You're basically confirming that the sender has found a valid email address.

It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

That was the case. Don't want to make the Out of Office available out with the company for the reasons stated.

Thanks
