Autoplay MP3 CD

hello to all. i have a question about

how will i create an mp3 cd which, upon insertion to cd drive, will automatically call the default player to load the playlist and start playing? (am using nero as my cd burner and winamp as default player in win98se.)

Set winamp to start automatically upon insertion....in the advanced options if available...
I also have Nero and use the player from nero as well.it has nice big EQ..

For all cd's inserted, including data...to your IDE internal CDROm or RW..make sure
Right click My Computer>choose properties>Device Manager>View Devices by type......double click CDROM.double click your CD Player..choose settings...Check the box that says AutoRun or Auto Insert Notification click apply..ok

same for USB...except my USB CDRW falls under Hard Disk Controllers when i connect it

You can always Bypass Auto Insert Notification by holding down the SHIFT key when inserting...usually for atleast 6 seconds to give it time to spinup and find

In accordance with the sites below..I think you could "set as default" the Nero "Audio CD Playback" in the Folder Options/Registered File types tab...
Also make sure Nero's preferences are set to enable Mp3 as it's default too..
