Hi guyz.

Hi have a RIS server and did some "unatend.sif" . In fact, I want two things:

- That before the setup the installer ask me on wich partions I want to setup Windows (Or let me customze it in the .sif like partition the drive with a 10Gig partion and install Windows on it, not the full disk, but I haven't find any option to do so) ...

I put these lines and the RIS didn't seems to take them ...

[Data]
AutoPartition=0

- I also want to setup to NOT ADD the machine into the Domain!! I want it in a Workgroup.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks again guyz!!

Those are easy entries if the sif settings are like a standard unattend. Here is what I use to accomplish this (I think..my build is at work and I cant verify 100% until I get back tomorrow morning.)

[Data]
AutoPartition=0

[Unattended]
FileSystem=*
Repartition=No
ExtendOemPartition=0

In a RIS install, you may need to try:

[RemoteInstall]
Repartition=No
UseWholeDisk=No

I dont know if you can combine any of these or just use the unattend ones.

Here are some links to some ESSENTIAL unattend building tools:

All of these tools are great. I dont know what features they have solely for RIS, but they are LOADED with unattend stuff.

Nop :(

The RIS just seems to ignore those parameter, format and partition the drive the way he want to (One big partion using the full disk) ...
