AutoNumber in Report

I have a report which i would like to put a number against each line in the detail section, so it goes 1,2,3.... etc depending on the actual line number.

Is there a way to insert a text box etc into the report and tell it to add 1 onto itself so each line...

Put an unbound text box in the Detail Section. Give it a value of 1, and make it a Running Sum OverAll.
