I'm interested in creating a field that will automatically generate a new log number into a record, but I don't just want a number, I would like to show the following (see example following):
RFP092004a
The break down of the above is:
*All records begin with RFP [RFP]
*All records are date stamped with month/year [092004]
*All records are incremented, e.g. [a], or , [c] etc.
Is this possible? Any suggestions?
