Automation of BCP

Dear All,
My intention is to provide my colleagues with information on a daily basis, in as many forms as possible. I was wondering if automation of BCP is possible to the extent of producing graphs/charts etc, or would the production of such charts and graphs have to be produced manually from the result of the BCP?

You could use Excel to link straight to a table in SQL Server and produce your graphs that way. (I think anyway!)

yes,

as far as i know, excel would not be automated, although maybe this would be possible with a vb script...

you could also use access.

either way, you would simply define an odbc datasource to your sqlserver to access the data Paul
