Automation Erros and Remote Profiles

Hi guys,
I'm having a problem running a VB 6 app on an Windows 2000 enviroment that uses remote profiles instead of Local Profiles. There is an ODBC connection, under the system tab, to an ACCESS 2000 DB. When we use a local profile (The Local Computer Admin's) it works great. Neverthless, if we use the Remote Profile we get an error message, it reads as follows.

Run-time error '-2146893788(80090024)'
Automation error the profile for the user is a temporary profile.
----------------

Background info:
Windows 2000 SP4
MDAC 2.7

Any ideas? (I've searched the forums and nothing.)
