Automation Error '-2147024770 (8007007e)'

A Microsoft Visual Basic application is created using the Report Designer Component (RDC).
This application is installed on other client machines using InstallShield.
When the application is run, and a report is previewed, the following error occurs:
run-time error '-2147024770 (8007007e)': automation error

I checked knowledge base article and
all it seems to be as specified in the article.

Does anybody know where is the problem?
