Automating with VBScript

Hi-

I am a data analyst with experience in VBA, SQL, etc but am new to the world of scripting in general (and VBScript in particular). I am looking for a way to automate grabbing files from different places (ftp, WinScp, etc.) and placing them on our network drives via scripting.

In this regard if anybody could point me to an appropriate website or article, or give any kind of advice I would be most appreciative!
