Is there a way for Access to invisibly automate a set of weblinks?
Here is what I have in mind.
A passworded site contains data on several different pages. I would like to create a sub in my data base that would go out, log into the site, go to the correct page and download the data directly to my tables.
The way I do it now is manually... I go to the site, download the various data in excel format, name the files a particular way and then hit my Import button which gathers all the data that I need from the excel files and puts them into my table.
I like push button ease... Since I have to manually download 50-100 different spreadsheets, I thought it would be easier if I could just push a button and have access do the whole thing for me.
The links are static, and don't change. But there ARE drop down boxes that need to be set.
Just wondering,
Joe
