I am using an Extra! Extreme 9.0 session which has a tool bar shortcut button that launches a custom application that scrapes information out of the screen and prints it on a label. I want to automatically run the shortcut button only when the user presses the <ENTER> key on a specific screen (screen id = INSP) and the letter "Y" is present on the screen at a specific location (21,28,1). Only then will the button be activated to run the app.

You'd have to create a macro that loops. I don't remember if EB can sleep, so you might want to use vbscript or something else. When the screen matches the criteria above, then you'd have to watch for keystrokes. I don't know if you can do like a WaitForKeys on "<ENTER>". IMO, it'd be easier to watch the screen and have it run the application after the "Y" is input.
