Hi,
being not really familiar with Visio, I had to reach the goal to produce a diagram showing relations of modules and Interfaces kept in an Access-DB. All the automatic stuff is badly documented.I finally came across the text-import-feature.
To do this, I had to produce reports on queries against the models and their linkage. These reports produce one line for each module, one for each interface and a link from one to another. It looks not very good, but is correct and producable without too much effort (it remains to concatenate the different reports and produce a flat text-file as import). Besides that, you have to prepare (once)a "master-drawing" holding the shapes and links to use. Basically I found all information in the online help.
To give you an idea, I'll post some lines of it following this text. It's in german, but I hope you won't mind.
Right now I am looking for hands-on experience for direct db-connection, that I haven't found yet.
Regards
