Vic: Most of us here are probably more software oriented than we are network/hardware types. I think you'll have a better, if not faster, answer in the Networking forums or Server forums.

Vic,

Isn't there a package from MS that does network installs? I think it is SMS, but I am unsure. I know our network admins just make run a few commands and then new versions are pushed out to all of our users...

Hope that helps...

Ever notice that by the time that you realize that you ran a truncate script on the wrong instance, it is too late to stop it?

There is a utility on the Windows 98 (second edition) CD that allows you to create a batch file for installing software on multiple PC's. It's not part of the regular install so you will have to browse the CD, it's under the tools directory. You may want to see if that will work for Office applications or if a simular utility is available on the Office CD. Since it's not a typical users option you will probably have to search for it on the CD. I'll check mine when I get a chance and let you know.

Remember, a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing...s-) -Bobby
