I have an Access database, with a query (query1) or report (report1) that I export to an Excel file (excel1.xls). I have written a macro (macro1) that formats my excel1 file the way I want it. [This part is all done]
I would like automate this whole sequence of running query1 or report1, opening the file excel1 and running macro1, through "click of a button" on an Access form (form1).
Would a kind soul please provide me the step-by-step guide on how to do it ?
Please note my programming skills are next to nothing - but I can generally follow instructions.
