Automating email messages

Is there another way to automatically generate outgoing email messages without having to enable IIS on an XP machine using VB6 ?

You could use lotus notes or outlook to generate your emails - there are examples on how to do this within this forum

Or you could run an SMTP server off your machine. Or access an external SMTP directly from VB.
