Automating Data transfer to a JFrame in Win32

Hi. This question is a little vague, but;
I have an application that launches a netscape frame using JINITIATOR.
I want to send key stroke data to this frame from a script to automate data entry.
Can anyone advise if 1) this is possible 2) How much work approx is involved and 3)can the data be transfered from outside the application
The only info I have about the running appl is:
Module: netscape.exe
Class: SunAwtFrame
I want to know if this approach would work and if I could develop something reasonably quickly.
