Hi,
I am attempting to automate some Brio queries I have. I am using Brio 6.2.3 , connecting to Oracle 8i, and a shell script. I
have the logon information coded into the "on startup" document script. Everything works except
that it shows a logon prompt window at the beginning of every query. If you hit cancel, the query
will connect and process anyway. I need to find a work around to either keep this window from
popping up, or to automatically hit cancel.
Has anyone else had this problem, or have any suggestions for fixing it?

Thanks in advance,
Renee

Have you tried the schedule query feature? We have a DBA who sets up our Brio querys on the web. Most of my queries have a input query for the listboxes which must be run by itself.

I'll see if I can get her to explain more about it and write back. :)

HI,

Even I am trying to automate a few Brio reports, can you tell me how have you captured the Username and Password i.e the logon information in Shell script?
Are you also dynamically changing the brio query depending on the User?

Kindly let me know the details.

Best Regards,
zak
