automaticly delete emails

hello,
I am running Exchange sp2. I wnat to some how delete the deleted items folders on everyones computer after 1 week. Is this possible. Please help.

We set up a group policy that empties deleted items upon exiting Outlook. I'm sure there must be a setting in there to delete after 7 days.

is their a Exchange setting that can do this. as a server side rule?

Read the Mailbox Management section about 3/4 the way down. I do this a lot and it works great.

What Reports. I know this sounds NEWB.

You can set the mailbox manager to email you a report of it's activity.
