In Windows 2000 and 98 (I think), when you clicked on a Drive in Explorer, or if you were in the root of the drive, it showed the Disk Usage Pie Chart on the left of the window.

XP does not do this (for me anyway). Of course, you can view the properties of the drive to see it, but is there a way of showing it automatically in the explorer Window like in Win2000?

I can't say I have ever seen that in XP as you describe except as you say via the Properties. In the Normal non-classic view under Details in the left column you do get file space details for the highlighted drive icon. Both views should give you similar information when you hover the cursor over the icon.

If your into Pie Charts then a third party program might provide a solution with its detailed drive space analysis.
