Hi,

I appologise if this is a very stupid question but I am extremely new to business objects.

All I want to day is select the highest value that would be available in an "In list" at run time. For those of you that know VBA it would be something similar to DMax function

Cheers

Do you mean a LOV? (List values)
If you want them sorted descending, you need to modify the order of the LOV of an object in the universe.

Could you use a HAVING clause in your sql against a MAX column? Or alternatively a subselect to get the max value for a column.
