I was wondering how you would basically create a scheduler to run a macro from a excel spreadsheet(or access) everyday, month?? I need to run reports which retrieve data from a data source everyday. Is this possible??

Although you may be able to use some type of scheduler or create you own. I believe to accomplish what you would like to do with the information given. You can add the macro to the personal.xls in the \program files\microsoft office\office\xlstart directory. The macro loads each time Excel is opened silently in the background. If you do not have this file in that directory then record a simple copy\cut\paste macro and a personal.xls will be generated for you. There are two possible problems with this and that is that you have to have excel loaded to run the macro and the file personal.xls needs to be in the xlstart directory on the machine running the macro. Hope this helped. :)
