Automatically killing a job

Is there a way to setup a policy so that, even if a backup from that policy starts, if the job isn't finished by a set time it is stopped?

Currently using:
Netbackup 6.5.2a
Windows Server 2003

no. not within netbackup. you would need to build an external script.
