Is there a way in BCB to increase the version number in the project\option\versioninfo tab every time the executable is built ?
I have seen this option in VB, can't find it in BCB :-(

Project->Options->Versioninfo->Autoincrement BuildNr.

I think there is something wrong with my eyes, I missed it completely.

thanks alot

*sigh*
go to 'project' button in the main menu, and then go to the 'options' button, and then under the 'options' box, go to the 'version info' tab. under the version info tab, there are 3 spinedits along the top row. under that is a checkbox saying Auto-increment build number. check it. or you could press Shift while at the same time pressing Ctrl and F11, and youll get the options box and you can work from there. NOW do you get it? I'm sorry if i come off rude, but it is not my intent, i assure you. just putting it in the simplist way possible so that anyone can understand it. Cyprus

Sorry for this mis-understanding, I meant to say: I missed it the first time.
Hnd was very helpfull, and with your description even people like me can use version information :)
