automatically generate microsoft exchange views???

hi,

i am using office xp 2003. in Outlook,
right click on Personal Folders|Properties...
i see that the option
automatically generate microsoft exchange views
is checked.

what does it mean? do i need it? i do not collaborate with anyone and am the only one using this outlook.
