We have a few managers that work from home full time, thus they don't have desk phones, but they do have an ext on the phone system. We want to forward any calls to their ext directly to their cell phones. Our phone partner (Vertical) told us the only way to do this is to have them log into a phone, and select the "Follow Me' button, which is programmed to send all calls to their cell phone.

Does anyone know if we can turn this feature on without having them log into a phone?

We are running MiCollab 8.0.0.40

Sigh,

System type, software level, yada, yada

assuming its a MiVb - depending upon cos settings , another use can use the call fwd third party follow me codes

eg if the code to set is **7 and to cancel it is **1 the ext to divert is 2000 , the access code for outgoing is 0 and the mobile to divert to is 0401234567

**7 2000 0 0401234567 to set it
**1 2000 to cancel it

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Yes Billz66, assuming it is MiVB but I make no such assumptions

You are also assuming the users do not want to set/cancel the forwarding remotely.

Sill no System type so will carry on asuming MiVB

and i didnt fully read the original request
" few managers that work from home full time, thus they don't have desk phones, but they do have an ext on the phone system. We want to forward any calls to their ext directly to their cell phones"

why not make this an EHDU extension and then it will twin to their mobile when called
- will require either [fullip and EHDU] or MDU license
