When I schedule reports to run using the CE web ui I want to automatically export the reports to Adobe - is this possible or do I have to do this manually for each report.
Also - When a report is created can I decide what it will be called - sO if I have 20 cuswtomers and run a report for each can I have the customer name in the name of the report created for ID purposes

First we need to know the version of Enterprise you are using. Version 8 could not set the format of the report when scheduling, but in v8.5 and above you can. You can also set the destination.

If Users have the right to schedule reports, they would be able to perform this.

The could also get a PDF file by exporting the report from its preview.

I'm developing the reports in developers edition v8.5 but I'm not sure what version of CE I'm using (it was set up by a previous employee) - I think it's whatever version that is shipped with 8.5 developers edition

The reason I need to export is so I can schedule the reports to run and export them to, say ,PDF format and
e-mail them to customers who can use them locally -we havn't a system in place where external customers are allowed to access the CE report UI. I need this to be as automated as possible so I can schedule reports and distribute them when I'm away

See The have a product called Disribution Server that works with CE8 and it allows you to do the things you mentioned.
Not sure of the price, but I hear it works well.

DD,

v8 of CE shipped with CR8.5. You can check the versioning in the Configuration Manager. This will list the version(s) of all the CE servers.

the email (SMTP) destination was also introduced in CE v8.5, so if you want to stick with CE v8 you might want to check out the APOS site or even some of the products on Ken Hamady's site (kenhamady.com/bookmarks) for some other alternative products
