automatically embed graphic from windows directory 1

I am trying to find a way to automatically embed a jpg file into bound object control from another control. The jpg files are in c:\mydocuments listed by number. I wish to enter a number in a control and have the cooresponding number from my documents embedded into the bound control. I have tried 'sourcedoc' but I need to use a string.

What do you mean by "The jpg files are in c:\mydocuments listed by number"? It sounds like you're saying they're in files named 1.jpg, 2.jpg, etc. If they are, all you need to do is convert the number to a string:
Me!OleBound0.SourceDoc = "C:\My Documents\" & CStr(intFileNumber) & ".jpg"
