Have any of you run across a technique or created one yourself that would email a certain report to every agent in a database once a day?

We have an error report that is sent to our agents once a week but there has been some talk from higher up that they would like to do this once a day. In lieu of having a lead or supervisor do this, would there be a way to automate it. Perhaps to have Access run and email the reports each morning when the first user logs in?

Also, how would that report be structured? Would it need to be one report that was run once for each agent? (We have about 200 agents.) Or could the report be run once with one agent per page and then emailed page by page?

To have acess run something when the user logs in you could put the database in the users startup folder.

Then use an autoexec macro to accomplish the task (probably with runcode in this scenario).

As for the rest check out the example code in thread703-1386610

Instead of docmd.openreport you will want docmd.sendobject with appropriate parameters of course.
