Greetings all ~

Is there a way I can automatically disconnect a user from the network if they are idle for more than 10 minutes? I would really like to set this function up basically to say "If this particular PC doesn't talk to the network for 10 minutes, disconnect all network connections."

Here's the situation. I have a PC setup running PC anywhere (dedicated - Win95b, NWC 3.3 - no profiles/no policies). Users dialin/login and do their work, but WILL NOT LOG OFF, they won't - and simply close the connection. This leaves the network open. This is starting to become a problem/security issue.

Thanks in advance.

Check the watchdog timeout setting on both the client and the server.

If this is set too low, the client can be disconnected..

Thanks for the reply.

Is that going to follow the user when they login from any PC here on the network, or only the specific (dialup) PC as mentioned above?

Thanks.
