Is there a way to automatically disconnect users at a specific time at night? Using the logon hours prevents new logons, but I'm not sure it closes all resources that are open for any network application.

Basically, we have an application that needs to run daily utilities at 7:00 but it won't run since there are some resources open.

Thanks in advance. Joe

You can use the logon hours as you mentioned. You can schedule and stop the server service at a certain time and restart it later for the next day's work. Say stop the server service at 2am and restart at 6am or whatever.

Also a method to keep users from changing data during a backup.
