Automatically Converting Documents to PDF

I am looking into the best way we can offer our staff in converting documents to PDF automatically from a central location. The catch is that some need to print mutilple slides on the 1 page, and some will convert large custom pages.

I thought about using Adobe Distiller and enabling watched folders, but how do you tell it to do multpiple slides to the 1 page?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
