Hi,

I have a 3Com OfficeConnect ADSL Wireless 11g Firewall Router.

To connect it to the Internet I have to go into the web front end and press a connect button.

Is there anyway I can get the router to connect to the Internet automatically when I turn it on?

Thanks.

Gavin.

Does it have a 'time out' or 'idel time' setting? If so put a -1 in.
All the best
James

Hi James,

The lowest value I could enter was 0.

I entered this but still no automatic connection.

Surely there must be a way of doing this?!

Gavin.

does it show a setting for 'on demand#' or 'nailed' connection? You shoudl be setting it as nailed.

Hi all,

I tried the large number and again no auto connection.

There is a check box for dial on demand, which is set to off. As far as I can tell this should mean it auto connects but it does not!

There is no nailed option.

The dial on demand checkbox should probably be checked.
