We have a SQL Server database with remote location info (type of connection, modem phone/IP address (static vs. dynamic), userid, password. Is there any way we can automatically build remote connection entries from the info stored in the database? We have several individuals that connect to remotes (clients) and we have run into problems where the connection we each have is not consistent. If we had a utility/script/??? to pull the connection info out of the database and create the remotes it would save us many, many hours when we have support issues (as we did a couple weeks prior to the time change). Thank you for any light you can shed on the issue.
