BC10, adding Generic Extension using Extension mgr. I believed that when i initiated a new extn, the auth code was automatically filled in. Now i'm finding that thats not always the case, not sure if its a particular MD110 or across all of them. Whats causing this?

Hi There Happyhammer66
When I set up a new extension through Extn Mngr I have to set up Digital or Analog then I have to set the COS the default is 0 You may be able to set up a template for both Analog & Digital I don't know somebody may be able to tell us
Cheers

This is why it happens, when we delete an extn using extension mgr, that’s all we delete, the auth code remains, and that could be for international access from the previous owner. Now that number is free to be used again, when we initiate a new generic extn with this number, the auth code is already there and there is no need to specifically add the auth code, however, he may have international access!!
